Post Process: enhanced saturation, curves, gradient on the sky.
This photo shoot was at Alveso Milpitas. It’s a interesting county park that includes a salt marsh, walking/biking trail and exotic historical monuments. The interesting part is the place has various climactic settings you can catch here. The place is a great place for portraits and I happened to have a great subject, Willfraedo. In this particular phootshoot I wanted to do a “let go of the past and look forward to the future” theme. Let me know what you think?
Set-Up: D7000, Sturdy Tripod, Stands, Cybersyncs, Sb-800, Vivtar-85.
Post-Process: curves to brighten up the picture, some gaussian blur to add a glow effect, enhanced vibrance/saturation for that “Nikon-color” saturated look.
At the Golden Gate Brige it was getting dark and these were some random photos I decided to take. Since it was dark I shot up the ISO which allowed more noise in the picture. So at the same time I though of using a different picture setting/style. I wanted these pictures to be more “dream-like.”
Set Up: D7000 & sturdy Tri-pod
Post Process: Brighten pictures, white overlay, and sharpen.
This picture was taken in San Fransisco, near by the “Palace of Fine Arts” (The Dome). The scene at the moment seemed symmetrical.Another thing was the sunlight that shined through the trees lit up the subject in the right places (the subjects face) and I had perfect ambient light. Therefore I “had” to take these candid pictures.
Set-Up: Nikon d7000, DX 17-55mm F2.8 lens
Post Process: In this picture I enhanced the colors just a bit, as well as the clarity, added a bit of Gaussian blur and lowered the opacity to give a bit of glowing effect around certain areas of my subject.
